Magazine design is more fun

Sometimes when you are designing, things can become monotonous with similar images, colors and branding. Doing the same thing on repeat is known as insanity in some instances. I think that's what I love most about doing magazine design. No matter what we are promoting, we have the ability to move and shift the design to meet new design trends, styles that are vintage and try unprecedented things.

In this previous issue of Oh18 Magazine, we had a blast adding in a ton of bright colors, images of delicious local food, photos of the local business owners and an eclectic style to create an eye-catching article.

There's never really a dull day when it comes to designing magazines. Because each article gets it's very own personality that reflects the content and the season. If you haven't checked out this issue, you should definitely pick one up or view it online. And, if you can, stop in and try some of this food - it's definitely worth it! If you're struggling with what to eat, ask one of the owners or employees. The article gives their recommendations, but I'm sure they'd be more than happy to offer advice on what to try based on your preferences.
