Does anyone else get carried away while shopping during the holidays? I know I can't be the only one. I am the worst at finding things I probably "need" while gift shopping. It's really not my fault. Chickasha does too good of a job for me not to find things for myself. Not to mention, prepping the models for this issue and being in the stores to find you great gift ideas makes it near impossible to not buy something! Just know, this is a sacrifice I do just for you. 

In all seriousness, the Holiday issue is one of our favorite issues. We have had the best time prepping our models and locations to give our readers a different perspective of everything Chickasha has to offer. Whether you are a last minute shopper, a hostess looking for that wow factor or even if you are completely done shopping, this issue has something for you. Maybe you'll find the perfect gift within these pages, discover a new favorite shop or if you are anything like me find something for yourself.

Shopping local isn't just about checking things off your to-do list, it's so much more. With every little purchase you are supporting someone who lives and works in our community. And isn't that what the Christmas season is about, prioritizing the things that are meaningful.

So this holiday season, we hope you take a little time to explore Chickasha. Pop into a store you have never visited, try a different restaurant and celebrate the light of the season at the Festival of Light. If you are visiting Chickasha, welcome! Shout out to our CPS staff! On this particular game day, it poured on and off the entire time our football team was securing a win. But CPS staff sat in the rain keeping an eye on our younger students as they played their own pickup game. Thanks for being out there and allowing memories to be made!
